Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is trying to take defender Nedum Onuoha on loan from Manchester City.
The 23-year-old only signed a new fiveyear deal at Eastlands last summer but new Blues boss Roberto Mancini does not, for now at least, consider the former England Under-21 defender a regular starter.
Benitez needs cover for the injured Glen Johnson and is strapped for cash.

p/s:I donno much about this guy,but sometimes when I do watch him play for City,he is reliable.He's usually been operated as centre back but the U-21 England Int'l seems to be brought in as Glen Johnson's cover.
